Requesting a Breed to Be Added to NASDA’s Official Listing

Exhibitors who wish to have a breed recognized by NASDA can submit a Breed Application Form for consideration.

Application Process

  • The form can be found at: NASDA Breed Application Form
  • Required information includes:
    • The breed’s recognized registry (e.g., FCI, UKC, CKC, etc.)
    • A link to the parent club website
    • A statement explaining why the breed should be included in NASDA
    • Supporting documentation such as breed standards, history, and registry information

Approval Considerations

  • NASDA reviews each request on a case-by-case basis.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee the breed will be added.

Notification & Timeline

  • Applicants will be notified by email if and when the breed has been added to NASDA’s official listing.
  • The review timeline varies based on the completeness of the application and the time required for research and verification.
