Trailing & Locating Online Rules
Rules
All rules that apply to standard NASDA Trailing & Locating events also apply to online submissions. Please refer to the NASDA Master Handbook for the complete breakdown of rules, deductions, and scoring.
All points earned in the Trailing & Locating Online Title Program are combined with in-person Trailing & Locating competition results. Dogs may earn all or part of their Trailing & Locating I and Trailing & Locating II titles through the Online Title Program.

- Provide a brief verbal explanation of what is being used and how it is set
- This can be included during the walkthrough
- Run Video
- Include your dog’s behavior at the start line
- The full working portion of the run
- Your final “Yes” call
- Reward time

- Quarry Safety – verbal and visual verification of the type of quarry and quarry cage, can be shown in course walkthrough
- Run video – including behaviour at the start line
Complete an entry form for each dog. If you are doing multiple entries for the same dog, you can indicate the number of video submissions on a single entry form.
