Setting Up a Search and Video Submission Guidelines for Urban Locating Online

Video Submission Requirements

Each submission must include:
Course walkthrough – Show the start line, hide location, and distractor placement.
Quarry safety check – Verbal and visual verification of quarry type and cage.
Run video – Include the dog’s behavior at the start line and entire search.

✅ Videos must be continuous – The walkthrough, getting the dog, and running the search should be one uninterrupted clip.
✅ Videos should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and submitted via the NASDA dashboard.

B. Search Area and Hide Placement Rules

Search areas must meet NASDA size requirements.
✔ Quarry must be placed in a secure, safe location within the search area.
✔ At least one hide must be elevated at each level.
