Approved Quarry Options
Handlers must use live quarry for Urban Locating Online searches:
✅ Two (2) gerbils OR One (1) domestic rat (If legal in your region)
B. Quarry Safety Requirements
✅ Quarry must be housed in a secure, approved cage to ensure both dog and quarry safety.
✅ NASDA quarry cages are preferred, but alternative cages must meet the following standards:

| Maximum Size | 11”L x 11”W x 11”H x 9”D |
| Material | Wood, wire, or metal |
| Visibility | Quarry must be visible on at least one side through secure mesh/wire |
✅ Verbal and visual verification of the quarry and cage is required in every video submission.
