About the Exhibitor Guide

Lost Item Online Title Progression

The program consists of multiple levels of increasing difficulty. At each level, dogs must locate lost items in well-used search areas with specific conditions such as:

  • Minimum and maximum search area sizes
  • Hide placement requirements (e.g., elevation)
  • Introduction of distractors at higher levels

Primary Title Levels

  • Lost Item Online Level I (LIO-I) – Basic level, single known hide, no distractors
  • Lost Item Online Level II (LIO-II) – Increased hide elevation, continued off-lead searching
  • Lost Item Online Level III (LIO-III) – Introduction of food distractors
  • Master Lost Item Online Champion (MLIOCH) – Multiple item categories, increasing complexity, toy and food distractors
