Teams who receive an invitation to the Invitational Championship or Showcase, as well as Best of Breed recipients, are eligible to use their invite to compete at the Regional Championship.

However, dogs competing in the Regional Championship in a specific class/level may not compete in that same class at the Invitational or Showcase unless they win a semifinal or championship bye. Here is an example:

Spot has the following awards:

Invitational: UL-I #3
Showcase: TL-III #32
#2 Best of Breed LI-II

Spot is eligible to compete in the Regional in Urban Locating, Trailing & Locating and Lost Item.

Spot is eligible to compete in Trailing & Locating and Lost Item at the Showcase and Urban Locating in the Invitational.

Teams may choose to split their invites between the events. This may be helpful for exhibitors with multiple dogs receiving invites in the same sport. Here are two examples:

Spot could compete in Trailing & Locating and Lost Item and the Regional and Urban Locating in the Invitational.
Spot could compete in Urban Locating and Lost Item at the Regional and Trailing & Locating in the Showcase.

Important: Versatility invitees must compete in all sports at the same event.
