When you agree to supervise an apprentice, you become part of that judge’s education and evaluation process.

Your responsibility is to provide the apprentice with meaningful opportunities to develop practical judging skills while protecting the safety, fairness, and integrity of the event.

The way you supervise should reflect the apprentice’s current stage.

Shadow Apprentice: You judge. They learn.
Supervised Apprentice: They judge. You supervise.
