Judges should only supervise apprentices for classes and levels for which they are approved by NASDA to provide supervision.

Before the assignment, confirm:

• The apprentice’s current status.
• The classes and levels involved.
• Whether the assignment is Shadow or Supervised.
• That you are approved to supervise the assignment.
• What responsibilities the apprentice should perform at their current stage.

Do not assume that an apprentice has advanced because they tell you they have completed the required number of runs.

NASDA approval determines the apprentice’s current status.

If there is uncertainty, the apprentice should verify their status through their Judge Dashboard or NASDA before the assignment.
