Supervised Apprentice assignments are both education and evaluation.

Your Judge of Record may provide feedback about areas where you are doing well and areas requiring additional development.

Useful feedback might include:

“Your timing and ring management were strong, but you need to watch the handler more closely.”

“You identified the correct deduction, but you’re consistently scoring that behavior too severely.”

“The course met the requirements, but let’s talk about how your judge position affected your ability to see the indication.”

“You handled that unusual situation independently and correctly.”

This feedback is an important part of determining readiness for Provisional judging.
