Don’t approach a Supervised assignment as something to get through so you can collect another required run.

Use the opportunity to determine whether you can perform all parts of the job.

After an assignment, ask yourself:

Could I have managed this class without someone standing beside me?

Did I accurately time while still observing the entire team?

Did I recognize deductions as they occurred?

Could I explain the rules supporting my decisions?

Did I make decisions, or did I rely on my supervising judge to make them for me?

Was my course appropriate for the class and level?

Did I communicate clearly and professionally?

What do I still need to practice before judging independently?

Those questions are much more valuable than simply asking how many runs you have left.
