The Den Hunt Tested should always be offered above ground.

Den Hunt Level I and Level II may be dug in or offered above ground. When offered above ground, the corners must be secured in a manner that does not allow dogs to push or change the tunnel configurations. The Dent Hunt Level II tunnels must be sufficiently darkened utilizing canvas tarps, foliage or other means to simulate earthwork.
