Club Status Overview

NASDA recognizes four distinct types of clubs, each representing a different stage in the journey of hosting NASDA events. Understanding these classifications is essential for ensuring compliance and successful event hosting.

  1. Applicant Club
    • A club that has recently submitted an application to NASDA.
    • The application is currently under review by NASDA administrators.
    • The club is not yet authorized to host any NASDA events.
  2. Provisional Club
    • A club that has been approved by NASDA to host its first events.
    • Provisional status allows clubs to demonstrate their ability to meet NASDA standards and follow event guidelines.
    • Transition to Approved status is dependent on factors such as on-site judge reviews, exhibitor feedback, and submission of complete and accurate event documents in a timely manner.
  3. Approved Club
    • A fully licensed NASDA club authorized to host NASDA events.
    • Approved status is granted after successfully completing the provisional period and meeting all NASDA requirements.
  4. Suspended Club
    • A club that is temporarily or permanently ineligible to host NASDA events.
    • Suspension may result from rule violations, incomplete or inaccurate documentation, or other actions deemed inconsistent with NASDA’s standards.

Each of these classifications plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and quality of NASDA events. It’s important for clubs to understand their responsibilities and adhere to NASDA guidelines to achieve and maintain Approved status.
